Section 272 of the Electoral Code provides that Cameroonian citizens settled or residing abroad may get their names entered on electoral registers by focal points within diplomatic representations or consular posts in their countries of residence or attachment. It is for this purpose that a mission composed of officials from the Directorate General of Elections and ELECAM Branches has taken to the international scene since 20 April, a trip that should end on 19 May 2024.
