The Director General of Elections, Dr. Erik Essousse, officially launched the revision of the electoral register for the year 2024 on Thursday 4 January 2024 in Yaoundé.

According to Section 74 of the Electoral Code, electoral registers are permanent. They are revised annually throughout the national territory.
