The Electoral Board applauds field staff for the successful registration of 144,817 new voters within a few months into this year's revision of voter registers. The Chair Person of the Electoral Board, Dr Enow Abrams Egbe disclosed these figures during the First Ordinary Session for 2024 that took place today 28th March 2024 in Yaounde. He revealed that 54.693 women and 90.124 men are those included in this registration figures. The deployment of technicians in the coming weeks to fix some faulty biometric kits for voters registration at various diplomatic representations and consular offices in the diaspora was also announced.
