On Thursday, 21 September 2023, the Conference Hall on the 5th floor of ELECAM’s Head Office played host to the third ordinary board session for the current year.
This ordinary session was devoted to, among others, the presentation of quarterly activity reports of the Directorate General of Elections, the mid-term budget execution status for the 2023 financial year of Elections Cameroon and the special appropriation, as well as summaries of activities relating to the official launching of regional platforms for permanent consultation.
In his opening remarks, the Chairperson of the Electoral Board, Dr Enow Abrams Egbe, mentioned the favourable feedback received regarding activities marking the official launch of the Multi-Sectoral Committee on the electoral process and the Permanent Consultation Platform, both at the national and local levels.
He also took the opportunity to congratulate his colleagues and the Directorate General of Elections on the brilliant success of this pilot phase.
For Dr Enow Abrams Egbe, Elections Cameroon's objectives and priorities are already focused on the future, in view of the 2023-2025 electoral cycle, with the next elections on the horizon.
