Born in Bamenda on 01/09/1957, Mr MBU PETER is a native of KEDJOM KEKU (BIG BABANKI) village, in the MEZAM Division of the North-West Region. He is married and is father of five children.

In 1982, Mr MBU Peter obtained a private law degree at the Law Faculty in the University of Yaounde. He later obtained a Diploma in Cycle A of the Advanced National School of Administration and Magistracy in 1985.

Mr MBU PETER began his career in 1983 as a contract worker in the Ministry of Public service, where he later appointed as 1st Assistant Senior Divisional Officer for the MIFI Division, in the West Region, in 1988.

He has held the position of Senior Divisional Officer from 2003 to 2012 in the following divisions:

• Kupe-Muanenguba – Bangem – South-West;

• Ngoketunjia – NDOP – North-West;

• Mayo- Banyo - Adamawa.

He retired from the civil service in 2012 and was later appointed on 25 April 2017 as member of the Electoral Board of Elections Cameroon.
