The vote counting procedure is conducted as follows: the ballot box is opened and the number of envelopes contained therein checked; one of the scrutinisers takes the ballot paper out of each envelope, unfolds it and hands it to another scrutinizers who reads it aloud; the name of the candidate or list of candidates, or the choice “Yes” or “No” in case of referendum, appearing on the ballot paper is recorded by two scrutiniser’s on specially prepared counting sheets.
